Tracking Your Progress & Receiving Your Academic Credential

You can check on the progress of you certificate program directly through the student portal, under My Certificates and Specializations. Once you have established candidacy and paid the application fee, your program will be linked there. 

Tracking Your Progress

  1. Log into your student portal and go to My Certificates and Specializations.

  2. Click on the title of the certificate program.

  3. This will take you an unofficial audit of the program.

    1. If you have any questions or concerns about the audit, please contact a student advisor at studentadvising@uclaextension.edu.  

Receiving Your Academic Credential

  1. Once you've successfully completed the certificate requirements, reach out to studentadvising@uclaextension.edu to request an official audit. 
  2. An academic advisor will confirm your completion and update the status from In Progress to Pending Review.
  3. The Registrar will then update the status of your certificate from Pending Review to Issued. 
  4. Official academic credentials are sent by Parchment.
