The Data Science Certificate program consists of 4 courses (3 required and the choice of 1 of the 4 available Machine Learning Courses). The program can be completed in as little as 6 months full time or up to a year if you take one course per quarter. The courses are listed on the website in the order we recommend taking them. However, these are only recommendations and students can take courses in any order they would like.
The Data Science Certificate program is designed to support learners at different stages of their professional journey. If you are new to Data Science, we recommend starting with the introduction course that introduces core Data Science, terminology, and best practices. If you already have experience in Data Science, you may have flexibility in selecting courses that align with your goals.

Complete in 12 months (4 quarters)

Students must pass all courses with a “C” or better to complete the certificate.
