UCLA Extension currently offers four different real estate related certificate programs. The first three are more structured, whereas the General Business Studies Certificate is an elective-based program. Please find details about each of these programs below:
- The Real Estate certificate program provides a structured program with courses to lead today’s professionals through the foundations of real estate principles. This program provides you with the knowledge and training to enter the industry and meets the educational requirements to obtain a California real estate salesperson license through the DRE.
- The Commercial Real Estate certificate program provides the skills needed to successfully navigate the world of commercial real estate, such as leasing, brokerage, development, property management, financing, and investing.
- The Real Estate Investment and Finance certificate program helps students gain a comprehensive understanding of real estate investment analysis, appraisal, and strategy, and prepare for a variety of career opportunities available in the industry.
- The General Business Studies with Concentration in Real Estate certificate program is an elective-based program made up of 36 units (available online or on-ground). We recommend you speak with one of our student advisors before beginning this program.
