The Real Estate Investment and Finance certificate's prerequisites are Real Estate Principles and Business Ethics. You can either take the prerequisite courses or show equivalent experience upon starting the certificate. A current salesperson or broker license in the state of California will suffice as equivalent experience.
That said, UCLA Extension courses are open enrollment. Nothing will prevent you in enrolling in the certificate courses without the prerequisites. Prerequisites are strongly encouraged as for you to be most successful in the course.
