The Plumbing Systems Design certificate program consists of 5 required courses. The program can be completed in as little as 6 months or 2 quarters full-time and up to 5 quarters (1 year and 3 months) if only taking one course per quarter. The courses are listed on the website in the order they should be taken.
The Plumbing Systems Design Certificate program is designed to support learners at different stages of their professional journey. If you are new to Plumbing Systems Design, we recommend starting with Plumbing Systems Design I and II that introduces core Plumbing System Design concepts, terminology, and best practices. Some flexibility is needed in the completion of the program as some electives are only offered in the Winter/Summer and some in Fall/Spring. Plumbing Systems Design I and II are prerequisites for the final 3 courses and are offered all 4 quarters.

Students must complete all courses with a “C” or better to complete the certificate.
