UCLA Recent Graduate Discounts

The UCLA Recent Graduate course discount offers UCLA alumni an opportunity to continue their personal or professional development 50% off a course, up to a maximum of $500. Please read below for important information about eligibility, covered courses, and the application process to avail these discounts. 

  • Eligibility Period: The course discount benefit begins one quarter after your graduation date and is available for one year (the eligibility period).

  • Eligible Courses: The list of courses that are eligible for this discount is selected and posted for each quarter. Not all courses are eligible. Courses are subject to availability and are limited to the offerings listed on the dedicated discount page. 

  • Application Window: The application opens, and students are able to view the eligible courses 30 days (four weeks) before the quarter instructions begin. The application period closes on Friday of the first week of the quarter.

  • Application Process: To apply for and use this recent graduate discount, you must complete the official application to verify your eligibility and course preference.

  • Policy on Full-Pay Enrollment: Enrollment in a course with full payment cannot be retroactively discounted with the Recent Graduate discount.
