The International Trade and Commerce certificate is a Fall-quarter, in-person certificate program. You can complete the program in as little as 9 months (3 academic quarters) at a full-time pace.

Below is a full-time sample schedule:
Fall quarter:
- Introduction to International Business
- Fundamentals of International Trade
- Plus one elective from the defined elective list, i.e.: Export Documentation, Traffic, and Banking, Global Supply Chain Management, Doing Business in the U.S., or Global Business Practices in Sustainability
Winter quarter:
- Global Business Skills: Planning and Negotiating Strategies
- International Business Management*
- Plus one elective from the define elective list, i.e.: Law in International Business, Import Operations and Techniques, or Doing Business in China
Spring quarter:
- International Business Policies and Strategies^
- Plus two electives from the defined elective list
- Business Ethics
*Prerequisite: Introduction to International Business
^Prerequisites: Introduction to International Business , International Business Management, plus two other international trade courses
