The General Business Studies with Concentration in Leadership certificate is a majority elective-based certificate, made up of 36 units and seminars. You can customize this certificate to meet your learning goals and objectives. The curriculum consists of:
- Six required leadership courses (three of which are one-day, in-person seminars)
- One required ethics course/seminar
- And an additional 24 units of coursework in the business management discipline (MGMT X 1-199 and 400-499)*
*Some elective courses may not be available for open enrollment and can only be taken with instructor approval, such as internships, accelerated courses and some advanced courses. Please consult with a student advisor for more information.

- Management Theory, Policy and Process (typically offered each quarter)
- Organizational Communication (typically offered each quarter)
- Creating Quality Leadership (typically offered Fall and Spring)

- Creating High-Performance Teams (typically offered Fall and Spring)
