UCLA Extension offers four certificate options in the International Trade and Commerce (ITC) area of study. The first three options are very similar, as they are structured with defined required courses and listed elective options. The fourth option is an elective-based certificate that is a more flexible certificate, although the same unit requirement (36). Students are given a 5-year window to complete a certificate program, maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.5.
- International Trade and Commerce: This certificate provides the knowledge and skills for the foundational knowledge for international trade and commerce in a changing international market.
- International Trade and Commerce, Global Business Management Concentration: This certificate explores the business, economic, and political forces dominating the burgeoning international marketplace and specialize in the field of global business management.
- International Trade and Commerce, Import/Export Operations Concentration: This certificate provides the foundational knowledge and skillset in the business field, specializing in the field of import/export operations.
- General Business Studies with Concentration in International Trade and Commerce: This multicourse certificate provides necessary skills to understand and succeed in international commerce and business. We recommend you speak with one of our student advisors before beginning this program as it is made up of elective options and is highly customizable.
