You can purchase a Library card at the circulation desks of the Louise M. Darling Biomedical and Charles E. Young Research libraries. The fee for each card is $28 per quarter with proof of Extension enrollment.
Please note that Library cards are used to access UCLA's print collections. They do not provide access to UCLA's online subscription materials.
UCLA Libraries have always offered their assistance to Extension students. You can get in touch with a library specialist through their contact services below:
Here are some alternative resources:
The Los Angeles Public Library (www.lapl.org) has about 200 online databases. You can get an ECARD by filling out a form online. They have article databases; a notable one for research is Research Library (ProQuest).
If you are not in Los Angeles, your local library system should have online resources available.
Google Scholar (https://scholar.google.com/): This is an amazing free resource where you can find almost anything you need.
