AmeriCorps Education Award funds are typically available during the 5th week and 8th week of the quarter.
AmeriCorps splits the fund amount into two separate disbursements to the school. Once the school verifies that you are still enrolled for the quarter and the last day to add or drop dates have passed, the UCLA Extension Cashier’s Office will process the reimbursement. You will receive the funds through the mail issued by UCLA Extension.
*Please do not mistake the check as junk mail; it will come in a gray perforated mailing.
If you believe that your reimbursement has been lost in the mail, please contact the UCLA Extension Cashier’s Office to request the reimbursement to be reissued.
