Most UCLA Extension courses are designed for adult learners aged 18 and older. However, exceptions can be made in some cases*. This requires the parent or legal guardian to complete and submit a "Waiver for Enrollment for Minors" and get prior approval from the instructor.

Waiver for enrollment of minors requirements typically require 7-14 business days for processing. You cannot be added to a course until you have received confirmation of enrollment from UCLA Extension staff.
* Programs in the Entertainment field do not accept enrollment of learners below 18 years of age.
