Many UCLA Extension courses have enrollment limits and will close once they reach their maximum capacity. If a course is full, it may offer a waitlist.
How to Join a Waitlist:
- Find the course you wish to take.
- If a waitlist is available, click on "Join Wait List."
- Log in to your student portal account.
- Add the waitlisted course to your cart and complete the registration process. You will not be charged at this time.
Waitlist Process:
- As spots open up, UCLA Extension will contact waitlisted students to offer them a seat and provide enrollment instructions.
- Once contacted, you will have 24 hours to claim your spot. If the seat is not claimed within this timeframe, it will be offered to the next student on the waitlist.
- Waitlisted students are not contacted past the add/drop/transfer deadline, as specified on the academic calendar.
Priority on the waitlist is given to certificate candidates who need the course to fulfill their program requirements.
