If you’ve taken courses at another institution you can request a transcript evaluation to see if those credits transfer into a UCLA Extension program. Please note that not all programs accept transcript evaluations. This information will be noted on the specific program webpage.
Follow the steps below to request a transcript evaluation:
- Identify the UCLA Extension course you want to substitute.
- Provide an official transcript and course syllabus for the course you want us to evaluate.
- Submit your transcript and course syllabus to our Advising team at studentadvising@uclaextension.edu with the title "Transcript Evaluation" and a member of our team will coordinate with the academic program department for review.
