Feature Film and Television Writing Conservatories: Will I get a certificate?

  • Updated

Students who completed our Writing Conservatories receive an Award of Completion, not a UCLA Extension Certificate.

UCLA Extension’s Feature Film and Television Writing Conservatories are 9-month accelerated online programs in either feature film or television writing. All relevant information pertaining to these programs can be found here.

Conservatories are separate from UCLA Extension certificate and specialization programs. Students must complete a certificate program to receive a UCLA Extension Certificate. Regardless, all courses taken at UCLA Extension, including our Conservatories, will appear on a UCLA Extension transcript. All students may request a transcript using the portal on this page.
