Interior Design: Foundation Level Certificate: Course Sequencing – Help Center

The Interior Design Foundation Level certificate program consists of 18 courses (17 required courses & 1 elective). The recommended course sequence can be found on the curriculum planner on the website (also below), and we highly recommend following this sequence for best success.

If you would like to craft an individualized study plan that deviates from the published certificate planner on the website, or would like to speak with someone about how to craft a schedule that works for your scheduling needs or personal goals, please contact our student advising team at advising@uclaextension.edu. Some courses have required prerequisites which can be found on the course page under “About this Course,” and others build upon each other, so it’s best to consult with an advisor if you would like to take courses outside of the recommended sequence.
