User Experience Certificate: Course Sequencing

The User Experience certificate program consists of 6 courses (4 required and 2 elective). 

Start any quarter. User Experience I, II, III, and IV must be taken in order. Elective courses may be taken in any quarter as long as prerequisites have been met. Prerequisites (if applicable) can be found on course pages. Move through the program at your own pace; it is not mandatory to finish the program within four quarters. Due to the prerequisites for each course, this program can only be completed on a part-time basis.

If you would like to craft an individualized study plan that deviates from the suggested plan on the website (also below), or would like to speak with someone about how to craft a schedule that works for your scheduling needs or personal goals, please contact our student advising team at advising@uclaextension.edu. Courses have required prerequisites, so it’s best to consult with an advisor if you would like to take courses outside of the recommended sequence.
