The Horticulture certificate can be completed fully remotely or through a combination of online, live online, and in-person courses. Several courses offer in-person sections depending on the quarter. Please refer to the certificate planner on the certificate page for a breakdown of the typical quarterly offerings for each course. However, not all courses are offered in person, so the certificate cannot be completed entirely through in-person courses.
Please note, the certificate curriculum is designed to serve students in Southern California and the Pacific Time Zone (PT). Course curriculum focuses on horticulture practices and plants common to Southern California.
